Privacy Policy

Serving Fact is designed to keep your formulation in your browser. This page explains the limited data that leaves it.

1. Recipe and label data

Your recipe, values, ingredient matches and label settings are processed in your browser. They are not sent to a Serving Fact database. Saved ingredient matches, ingredient order and license details use your browser's local storage. You can clear them from your browser at any time.

2. USDA FoodData Central

Ingredient searches are sent through the Serving Fact Cloudflare Worker to USDA FoodData Central. The Worker attaches the API key server-side. USDA receives the search query. We do not send your full recipe, your product name or your label values to USDA.

3. License validation

If you activate a license, the key is sent to our Worker and then to Polar to validate it. The Worker caches the validation result. Your license key and plan are stored in your browser's local storage so you do not have to paste them again.

4. Payments

Polar is the merchant of record. Polar processes the payment, tax and receipts, and sends the license key. Serving Fact does not receive or store your card number. Polar's own privacy policy applies to the checkout.

5. Technical logs

Cloudflare may process IP address, user agent, request path and error information to deliver the site, apply rate limits and diagnose failures. The Worker may log errors without recipe content. We do not sell personal data.

6. Contact and email

If you email hello@servingfact.com, we receive your address and message. We use it to answer the request. Do not send recipes or confidential formulations by email.

7. Deletion

Because the app has no account database, clearing your browser storage removes the local copy. For license or purchase records, contact Polar through thePolar customer portal.
