Terms of Service

These terms cover the use of Serving Fact, including the free preview and the paid licenses. By using the site you accept them.

1. What Serving Fact is

Serving Fact is a calculation tool that turns per-serving values or a recipe into a US Nutrition Facts label under 21 CFR 101.9. It is not regulatory advice, legal advice, or FDA certification. You are responsible for the values, the serving size, the ingredient statement, the allergen statement and the final review before printing or selling a product.

2. Free preview

The calculator, all label formats and the screen preview are free. The free preview carries a watermark and does not include PDF, PNG or SVG export.

3. Paid licenses

Paid access is sold as a license key through Polar as merchant of record. The plans offered are Solo (unlimited PDF + PNG with a “Made with Serving Fact” footer) andPro (SVG, no watermark, client work, brand presets, unlimited local projects and batch export). Single is not offered.

A license does not expire. “12 months of updates” is a description of the update policy, not an expiration date for the license. License keys are personal to the buyer and cannot be shared, resold or published.

4. Permitted use

You may use the labels you generate for your own products and for clients if your plan allows client work. You may not use the service to create labels you know are false, misleading, or for products that do not meet the applicable legal requirements.

5. No warranty

The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Serving Fact disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The calculation may contain errors; verify the final label with a qualified professional.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Serving Fact is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, recalls, fines or reprinting costs. The total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Refunds

Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase. See theRefund Policy for the exact process.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
